Lourdes:

Lourdes is a holy town in the south of France at the foot of the Pyrenees. A revealation took place in 1858 in a cave by the town.The Virgin Mary appeared in front of a young girl by the name of Bernadette  After her early death this girl became a saint. For catholics the water from the source in the cave is healing. Several million pilgrims visit Lourdes every year praying to God and drinking from the source in hope of a miracle.
